YUM is an independent app made by a solo developer.
We want you to understand how we use and protect your personal data.
Account information. You sign up using Sign in with Apple. Apple shares with us your name and email address (or a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email) and a unique user identifier. We never receive your Apple password.
Content you add. Images and text you post to your feed, Food entries and quantities you log in the calorie tracker, Grocery lists and the items you add to them.
Usage data. We collect metadata, log data, device information to improve our services.
We do not collect payment information, precise location, contacts, or your Apple ID password.

Comply with legal obligations
Food and calorie entries may reveal information about your diet or health. We use this data only to show it back to you within the app. We do not share it with third parties except our service providers and do not use it for advertising.
Feed posts. Images and text you post to the feed may be visible to other users of the app. Do not post anything you want to keep private.
Shared grocery lists. When you share a list, the people you share it with can see and, depending on permissions, edit that list, along with your display name. Only share lists with people you trust.
Calorie tracker. Your food entries are private to your account unless the app explicitly offers a way to share them.
We seek to take reasonable measures to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent
loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, it is not
possible to guarantee 100% security or confidentiality of information you provide to us. If you
have reason to believe that your interactions with us are no longer secure, please contact
levelsofyum@gmail.com immediately.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except where we must retain something to comply with law or resolve disputes. Backups may persist for a short additional period before being overwritten.
Access and correction: You can view and edit your content within the app.
Delete your data: You can close your account and delete your data by deleting your account in your account settings, or by making a written request to our team. To submit a deletion request, please email us at levelsofyum@gmail.com. We will aim to respond within 30 days.
Sign in with Apple: You can revoke the app's access anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Exercising your rights: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent.
